ICT (Information and Comunications Technology)

The course is focused on how to use ICT in the language clasroom effectively. To achieve this goal different technological tools have been done during this course, in order to know their pedagogical uses.

Technology has become an important tool in our lives, internet has made huge changes in the way we communicate, learn, inform, and interact with others. Education is not apart from these changes, because the use of Information communication technology (ICT) in education has played a central role, due to the fact that it provides a wide range of advantages in the learning process, between the advantages, it is important to highlight the rapid and timely access to information in very little time, ICTs create an interest in learning, they increase learning opportunities, promote collaborative work, authentic learning and it is easy for teachers to evaluate their students. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A webquest is an inquiry oriented activity which asks students to use the World Wide Web to learn about and/or synthesize their knowledge in a specific topic.

 

My webquest consists that students have to play a role of 3 siblings and planning a special day for their mother's birthday and finally they have to create a poster with an itinerary of the places they are going to visit.

It’s an interactive site that allows students to create an interactive poster. It can include:

oPictures

o Videos

o Audio

oGraphics

o Hyperlinks

 

In this work, students have to create a video which they have to describe a process. It promotes discussion, collaborative work and active participation of all members of the group.

A wiki is a series of web pages on the Internet that can be immediately and easily edited by anyone with a password to your wiki. They are collaborative spaces online where you can share and create information among a  number of users.

 

This is a wiki project whre the focus on teaching is collaborative writing, its objective is that students have to create a story collaborativelly. To accomplish this task, students are going to work in groups of 3 and continue writing the body and the conclusion of the story (the introduction is already given).

Popplet is a tool for the iPad and web to capture and organize your ideas. The objective of this popplet is to teach vocabulary related to camping, so students can learn in a interactive, dynamic way, also they can think and learn visually.
